"My two pet peeves in this business are pushy, lying salespeople and contractors that don't hold themselves to high standards when installing a project. It's simple really, offer a great product at a fair price and always tell the truth. As far as quality of work it's our obligation as professionals to know what a great job looks like vs what the customer is willing to accept. The level of perfectionism in my DNA is almost OCD. I HONESTLY can't sleep at night if there was ANYTHING I could have done better on a customers install regardless of how happy they might have been and gave us a 5 star google review. It's truly disgusting how many home remodeling companies put quality of finished install almost least important. I was handed 2 generations of experience when I was a teenager, since then I have added over 20 years of experience from high rise commercial framing down to the smallest of projects. I grew up installing vinyl siding and windows on weekends and summers before graduating in 2003 from Ocean Springs High School. I would become a sub contractor myself in 2005. 7 long years later (of replacing siding and windows alongside commercial work on the Gulf Coast casinos, hospitals, high schools, and banks) in 2012 I was introduced to the outdoor living business of patio covers. As far as patio covers, screenrooms and sunrooms, I have managed and installed over $14,000,000 worth of projects since 2014. I grew up on different standards, a different work ethic, I'm just cut from a piece of cloth that's hard to find anymore."
